Sustainable development is now a global priority. Projects contribute billions to the global economy and need to be managed more responsibly if they are to avoid impacts that are damaging to the environment, people and society. But how can project managers respond?
Karen Thompson and Nigel Williams of the Department of Leadership, Strategy and Organisations, Bournemouth University (and Guest bloggers for the Major Projects Knowledge Hub during July) are the team behind the Responsible Project Management Facebook Group. They will offer an introduction to the RPM Manifesto, launched on the 2nd July, 2019 and then lead a facilitated discussion to answer your questions and elicit your ideas for how we can change the way we initiate, plan and run our projects to address the climate emergency and sustainable development.
This is the second 60 minute ZOOM session we have run. The success of our first session in June, facilitated by Todd C. Williams has encouraged us to add this to our monthly activities, when the theme and the speakers lend themselves to it. You can catch the recording of Todd’s live session on MPKH.
Join us online via ZOOM or dial in between 12.30 and 13.30 BST on Tuesday 23rd July.
